Creative Teachers' Competition

Call for creative teachers’ Competition

 This competition which has been organised by the TESSA (Teacher Education for Sub Saharan Africa) and is coordinated at the local level by Auckloo Pritee, lecturer in the School of Education.  This competition also coincides with the 35th anniversary of the MIE and seeks to value primary school teachers’ contribution and foster creativity in different domains of teaching and learning. Teachers from the different schools in Mauritius responded to the call and 35 participants were prepared for this competition. They were challenged to make use of open learning resources and had to adapt them in their own context through creative and authentic initiatives. In Mauritius, 11 best entries were selected and rewarded before being sent to TESSA, whilst all the participants obtained their certificate of participation. Bravo to all participants!
