The Performing Arts Unit of the Mauritius Institute of Education

 

The Performing Arts Unit of the Mauritius Institute of Education is pleased to invite you to a staging of  FIONA's EXPERIMENTS- A play for children and the child within you.


This play meant for ZEP (Education Priority Areas) school Standard 3 children in English, combines drama and teaching of science and makes scientific concepts and thinking so much fun for the children. It revolves around Fiona who has an urge for scientific experiments and wishes to follow the footsteps of her deceased father. She faces the resistance of her mother and gets entangled with a witch bent on kidnapping her. The first show with ZEP school Standard 3 children showed how much children are responsive to learning in fun ways, an approach that MIE has been pioneering for a number of years. 


Show dates & Time:   10 – 14th September (10.30  & 13:00) 

                                                 15th September (13:00 & 16:00)
